Consistory is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs. Tiffanie Wood as Director of Christian Education at Niskayuna Reformed Church!

Tiffanie has been one of our long-term and greatly-respected Sunday School teachers.  She has a strong background in education, having owned her own preschool for ten years.  She recently completed a master’s degree in Childhood Education and Literacy through Sage Graduate School in Troy.  Tiffanie very much enjoys organizing and planning events, orchestrating fun ways for children to learn, and she has a strong love for Niskayuna Reformed Church.  Having taught Sunday School for many years, Tiffanie is familiar with all of the various Sunday School activities, including the Sunday School Curriculum, the Family Christmas Eve Pageant, the Children’s Day service in June, and Summer Sunday School.

The Wood family has been a valued part of the NRC congregation for many years, beginning with Tiffanie and David’s marriage at NRC.  All four of their children, Lauren, Owen, Emily and Ben, were baptized at NRC, have regularly attended Sunday School, have made their First Communions, and three have now been confirmed at NRC.
