Operation Adopt a Soldier will be the recipient of the November collection.

Week 2: November 7th – 13th: Treats-  hard candy, powdered drink mixes, (dry) cup of soup, tuna, energy bars, canned snacks (Pringles), beef jerky, lemonade powder, nuts, trail mix, life savers, nuts, packaged cookies, etc.

Week 3: November 14th – 20th: Paper Items-  all occasion cards, newspapers, journals, school supplies, English/Arabic dictionaries, books, pens/pencils, envelopes, stationary, magazines, coloring books, crossword puzzles, comic books etc.

Week 4: November 21st-27th: Miscellaneous Items- games, music CD’s, board games, soccer balls, small flashlights, AA & AAA batteries, footballs, 22v/110v electrical converters, can openers, Frisbees, baseball hats, etc.

Items may be placed in baskets outside of Fellowship Hall.

The first two weeks of our drive have been very successful. The congregation donated $707 and M & SC has made a $1000 donation to OAAS.

Week #1/Personal Care Items: 193 items were collected

Week #2/Treats: 78 items were collected.
