Dear NRC community,

Grace and peace to you in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We certainly are in need of the peace and comfort that only God can provide. Please know that me and your Consistory are doing our best to respond to the rising concern over the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are listening to the guidelines provided by the CDC, and the actions taken by local, state, and federal governments. We also know our role as the spiritual caretakers of this congregation, especially as anxiety rises around us and in us. We are working on ways to meet the spiritual needs of the congregation, even when we are unable to “gather” as we normally would. A more comprehensive email will be coming your way tomorrow regarding the actions we are taking here at NRC.

I take comfort in the words of the Christian mystic, Julian of Norwich, “All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”
