The History and Archives Committee held their third annual Cemetery tour on a rainy Saturday morning, October 26.  Though the rain prevented the tours from being held IN the cemetery, the program went on without delay in the warm and dry comfort of Fellowship Hall.  Scott Haefner, committee chair and our resident professional historian, provided background on the church, the cemetery, and highlighted the service of eight of those Civil War veterans whose eternal home is in our burial grounds.  The committee displayed two historically significant church documents that were recently professionally restored with funds received from a 2018 Classis grant and that have been raised from other committee fundraisers and donations.  Thanks to all who supported this H&A event.
