The NRC Women’s Fellowship Group, together with the Mission and Service Committee of NRC, hosted an Election Day Bake Sale last Tuesday, November 7.  More than 20 members of the groups baked a wide variety of delectable, homemade goodies, and about 17 women took 1-2 hour turns greeting the voters and taking care of sales.  That in itself made for a wonderful event!

However, even with light, but steady voting on this off year election day, the sale netted just over $700!  Proceeds will be used to help our new refugee neighbors during the Christmas season.
